Minutes from the May meeting were approved as emailed

Treasures repot: Danielle Escover

CCC Account:  Checking: $1,440.12   Savings: $8,017.27                  Open Account: Checking: $1,787.34            Savings:  $298.35     

Bills Submitted:

Tina McGurran $200.00 year-end awards, Nancy Fenn $30.00 CCC meeting and Mark Bell $174.00 awards for Region 10. Motion made by Tina McGurran to pay bills as submitted

There was a total of $30, 000.00 received for the April POR that has not been deposited as of yet into the CCC account. There was a total of $10,00.00 held in the joint reserve account for next years show.

A Thank you was read to the club from Denise Escover. She thanked everyone for the flowers, phone calls and friendships.

Region 6 Jim Carraher

First show hosted in May went well. Next show is in July. If you require information contact Jim at sjkids@pacbell.net . If interested in competing in an actual outdoor trail ride also contact Jim for more information.

Region 10 Linda Jacobsen

Next show scheduled for June 13th Watsonville Fairgrounds.

Youth Report: Christina McGurran

They took care of all outstanding Dues at this meeting. They decided to use ½ of the proceeds from the April Raffle to donate to a child born with birth defects and the balance to go towards the Leadership conference. It was asked if the adult club would consider making a donation to the Youth club towards airfare to the Leadership conference. There are four girls currently interested in attending.

CCC: Diane Lang Nancy Fenn

There was much discussion on Horseman of the Year Bios are due by the August CCC meeting.

Please think of Nominations.  State Points Keeper position is open for bid every year. If interested must be present at August meeting. 

New Business:

Tina must resign as Corresponding Secretary Kasha Ford volunteered for this position through October.  A donation of  $100.00 will be sent to the SPCA in remembrance of Sharron Bates and a gift basket will be sent to the family. Flowers will be sent to Oak Hill Funeral home and gift basket will be sent to Ed and Libby Flores in the passing of Libby's mother.

A Motion was made to form an awards committee to help Libby with the organization of awards purchases. Nominees were: Kathy Groves, Kristi Abrams and Carol Ray to help Libby with standardizing of the awards. 

October Youth Am. Show:  October 10, 2004 Nancy Fenn made a motion that we do embroidered day sheets and embroidered halter bags for 5 categories of High Point and Reserve. Cost of $400 to $500. Motion carried.
