Nancy Fenn reported on the upcoming August 25th show:

There are no overall awards currently planned for this show. No awards have been mentioned yet in the premium. The premium will be going out in the next week or so.

The club members donated chairs from Target for all of the highpoint awards. Janis McDonald agreed to go and buy them and get them for the show.

A motion was made to provide class overall awards for the show not to exceed $200 dollars. Sharyn Fincher will look into the pricing and availability for awards and get back to Nancy Fenn. Shortly after this was voted on a new motion was made to let Nancy Fenn decide on what awards will be offered with her discretion. Motion was approved unanimously. Mary Baughman has volunteered to run the trail warm up for 2 hour at 5 bucks a piece for 3 minutes each person.

In keeping with the summer fun theme, Janis McDonald suggested that we hold a fun class for 'over the hill adults' that will be judged by the youth team. A motion was made was made to have a adult fun class that will not be judged by the official judges, the youth team will judge for anyone 35 and older walk jog maiden English or western pleasure class. The motion was approved as proposed. This class is show attire, chaps optional APHA minimum attire.

We need help organizing sponsorships, if anyone would like help out please get back to Nancy so sponsorships can be recognized in the premium. Mary Baughman reported that the facility has been cleaned up and looks great. Nancy reported that there will be 10 stalls available at the facility. The portable stalls are very expensive and logistically difficult to manage. If any club members would like to offer stalls at their facilities to help out for exhibitors want to stay over night. Please contact Nancy Fenn.

The show starts at 7:30am......

Don and Gladys Gilbertson have graciously donated there services for running our show.......a HUGE THANK YOU for this service.

Janis McDonald has T shirts for the youth club, blue and white T shirts for sale for $12.

Shane Ellis a past exhibitor, had a check that got lost and found when moving which was for a 1996 futurity check from our club, he never cashed it and would like to get a new one. A motion was made and approved to give him a new check and let him cash it.
