2002 Newsletter
Meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by president Steve Guerriero. 

Treasurer's Report was given by Denise Escover

CCC Program Balance:
CCC Checking $2268.68
CCC Savings $35513.65

Open Program Balance:
Open Checking $670.97
Open Savings $5380.03

Old Business: 
The April Rancho show, after all the expenses and funds came through we netted $12376.74 in the CPHA 7CPHC joint account has $4000
Total $16376.74. Thanks to everyone who made this show possible.

The May Watsonville show, after all expenses netted $1415.79 which is much better than last year where we didn't break even.

Bills:
Melissa Berschens submitted bills for the printing costs for $59.71 for the 7CPHC raffle.

Youth club report:
Ashley gave the youth club report. They are going to have a day out at Great America and spend their winnings from the From the Heart Award.

Open Show Report:
Rusty Paris will be the judge for the main portion of the show. We will be having the $75 per day per horse flat fee.
Contact Denise to help out at the show. The colt that our club is raffling off will be on hand to visit with at the show. The raffle will be held at the July 21 show.

Miscellaneous Info:
Congratulations to all the winners at the World Show from our club.

We need to nominate someone for the Horseman of the year award at the next meeting.

Youth club was reminded to attend at least one adult meeting in order to be eligable for year end awards.
