was called to order at 7:10 PM by club president Steve Guerriero.
No
new members or guests.

Abrams submitted a bill for $11.00 to cover the expense for
trail copies at the open show. This was approved for paymen

Report
APHA
had changes to our Bi-laws. Changes were to our clubs election
rules. The forms were signed by Officers and to be returned to
APHA.

Show Report :
Denise
Escover reported that the second and final show for the buckle
series had a disappointing low turn out. But on the bright side
many of the buckle winners were FIRST time winners.
Youth
Report:
Danielle
Escover reported that the youth club was awarded the “From the
Heart” award at the APHA World show. They received a check for
$500.00 and a plaque. AHPA is holding a leadership conference in
Milwaukee October 3rd & 4th 2003.
Dana
Klamecki made a motion that the club donate $1,000.00 to the
youth club for airfare to the conference.
Diane Lang seconded the motion.
Old
Business:
Please
remember to sign-in. Check to make sure all of your work hours
and meeting attendance have been logged.

Business:
April 2004 POR show planning is getting underway. The
first meeting will be held at the October 4th Rancho show. If
interested please contact Steve for more information. Volunteers
so far are as follows:

These
committees are open to all members. If interested in getting
involved contact Steve.
The
clubs nomination for CCC “ Horseman of the Year” is Ann
Curtis.
Melissa
Berschens and Kasha Ford volunteered to put the Year-End Awards
Banquet together.
There
were NO volunteers to host the clubs Christmas Party this year
help stop the Grinch
from stealing our Christmas party step up and volunteer (please
be our Santa) .
Club
elections will be held at next months meeting. Nominations are
as follows:
President:

Treasure: Denise Escover
Correspondence Secretary: Tina McGurran
The
positions are still open and will be voted on at the next
meeting. If you are interested in one of these positions or
would like to nominate someone please be at the next meeting.
Kasha
Ford is looking into a trust fund to be set up for the Nigh
children.
A
motion was made Denise Escover that we as a club donate $500.00
per child (3) to the trust fund. Mark Bell seconded the motion.
