Old Business:

Next year's show. CPHA is non committal. Open for discussion.

The more directive we can give the CCC reps before they go, then they have more to work with and more choices.

Should we do the show with another club?
Three options:
1) Have the show alone
2 )We have the option to do the show with Pacific Coast Paint horse club
3) Have the show with CPHA -they haven't given us an answer if they want to do this yet.

Dates -
1) CPHA early April
3) before the world
2) between the world and memorial day

Location:
1)Rancho
2)Paso
3)Watsonville

The CCC reps will take this information with them to the November CCC meeting and do their best to fight for a date, location that fits in with the advice the club provided.

Youth Club Program:
Nancy and Charlotte Fenn

Seattle Trip Report: Charlotte Fenn and Megan McDonald gave a report to the club of their recent trip to Seattle for the AJPHA youth Leadership conference.
They went to the aqurium and the IMAX theature. On Saturday they went to a leadership conference where they learned about manners, agriculture

There were 35 kids in attendance from all over the country.

Patty Labell is the youth coordinator and she gave the girls input on how to start a youth club. Eighteen and under and the only requirement is that there are at least 10 kids in it to join.

Heather Neilson is trying to start a youth club down south. California only has one youth club.

Dana Klamecki is willing to be the leader of this club and work with the kids to establish it and mentor the kids.

Ed and Libby wish to thank the club: Linda Tacklind presented Ed and Libby with a wedding present. Ed and Libby send a heart felt thank you!.

CCC Rep- The CCC rep vote that took place, there was an error and further discussion is necessary

Next year we will vote earlier in the year for the club officers. Diane Lang suggested changing election schedule for the club so we vote for new officers earlier in the year. This was voted on and passed.

Gold Club - Nancy Fenn will bring the info on this to discuss at the next meeting..

Reno Zone show issues:
For years California has placed their 75 cent judge fee on everyone for every person who went to the show no mater what state they were from. The zone show hasn't rectified the problem. The CCC reps were asked to get votes from their clubs on a direction on this issue.
If the CCC doesn't sanction this show it will not count for California state points. Break out the fee or declair the charges people would be more opt to be okay with it. We have been asked to reconsider our position on this issue and have CCC sanction this show f or the CA points to count.

There was a motion for this. The motion was seconded and voted on and passed. Linda Tacklind will go back to the CCC and say 7CPHC supports this for this year. If this issue with the extra fees is not rectified by the next year, we will vote against having this show CCC approved.

State Awards Banquet:
The California State Awards Banquet will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose on January 19 and 20, 2001.
