2001 Club CCC Show Update:
Libby gave a report of the results of the last CCC meeting which was the meeting where show dates are decided. Our dates are Thursday and Friday April 5th and 6th with CPHA club at Rancho Murrieta and a one day show for August 25th location is to be determined.

Regarding the April 5th and 6th show with CPHA. We would do the show as a four day show for everyone. Both clubs will be involved all four days. We would form a joint account, each club would put in a sum and everyone would put in all expenses in to this account and deposit all stall checks and entry fees into the account. Both clubs would have to come to an agreement on rules for show and form a committee of 6 people, 3 from their club, 3 from our club to have a decision making group that could arrange decisions as necessary. Everyone would involved with the show and planning. These three people would be the main contact people with the other club to make sure things get done in a timely manner. Please see Dana Klamecki if you are interested in being on the committee. Club members could work their hours any day of the show. They want the Gilbertsons to do the show secretary job. Class awards would be similar at each show. The overall idea is to have the same stuff going on at each show and have it fairly consistent. Each club would pay for their own set of judges. Dana Klamecki talked with Janet with CPHA and the committee needs to be set up in the next few days. A meeting will be set up in Stockton the weekend of November 18th to meet with the other club to discuss issues. An ad in the directory needs to be created and sponsorships need to be set up.

Error in election at last meeting:
At the last meeting we voted on two CCC reps positions when only one position was really open. Dana Klamecki, our new club president looked up on Robertsrules.com to find out what to do in this situation. It was found that this vote was invalid. What was decided was to redo the vote. We need to take new nominations. The new election results are as follows:

New Business:

2001 Rules:

An issue was brought up that a horse and rider combination shouldn't be allowed to show in both the CCC program and the open show program. The reason for this is one party thought that it was unfair for people to be able to get awards in both programs. This issue was brought up and discussed at the meeting. No action was taken on this issue.

Dana Klamecki brought up an issue about the current rules for children attending meetings about kids whose parents aren't into horses or paints and don't come to meetings, the kid's shouldn't be penalized. The kids are going to have their own club and those meetings should count. No action was taken on this issue.

Rules were approved as is.

A motion was made to approve the open and CCC year-end awards program rules as is. The motion was seconded and the vote was passed 17 to 4.

Rule amendment:
A motion was made to amend the rules to extend the points entry deadline to 45 days for any exhibitor to turn in points except for the last show which is 30 days.
